Snowstorm Aftermath: Digging Out and Dealing with Drifts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The snowstorm aftermath<\/strong> has been brutal. Our driveway had to be plowed twice on Sunday<\/strong>, and even today, we\u2019re still having trouble getting in and out. The snow hit harder than expected<\/strong>, and with wind-driven drifts piling up<\/strong>, it\u2019s making travel a nightmare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Sunday morning, a travel ban<\/strong> was issued, so we tried to make a mad dash to the IGA across the street<\/strong> before it took effect. We still didn\u2019t make it in time. At least we had some backup food at home<\/strong>, so we weren\u2019t completely out of luck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snowstorm Aftermath and Internet Woes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the storm came internet issues<\/strong>, which meant we had to skip streaming last night<\/strong>. It was frustrating, but with the connection being flaky<\/strong>, it just wasn\u2019t worth the struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning commute was rough<\/strong>, too. The roads weren\u2019t plowed well<\/strong>, making the drive to work a real pain. Thankfully, they had cleared up by the time work was over<\/strong>, except for\u2014of course\u2014our driveway<\/strong>, which was still a mess. The wind is still brutal<\/strong>, creating massive snow drifts<\/strong>, some even covering entire roads<\/strong>. At this point, mountains of snow<\/strong> are piling up everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Cameras Arriving After the Snowstorm Aftermath<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the bright side, our new cameras arrive tomorrow<\/strong>, and I can\u2019t wait to test them out. Looking forward to getting back to streaming<\/strong>, especially with a few new ideas I have for the brick game<\/strong>. I might also jump into some gaming myself<\/strong>\u2014it\u2019s been a while since I had a solid gaming session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tonight, I\u2019m also testing out an experiment with the pup pups and a heating pad<\/strong>. Should be interesting to see how they react to that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
