Streaming Server Migration: Fixing Our OBS Crash Issues<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our streaming server migration<\/strong> is officially underway! When I got home today, I saw that OBS had crashed again<\/strong>, which made last night even more frustrating since it had already crashed three times<\/strong>. That was the final straw\u2014we needed to move everything to the new streaming server<\/strong> to stop these issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, nothing ever goes smoothly. The migration was a total disaster<\/strong> and took way longer than expected. That\u2019s why we\u2019re going live late tonight<\/strong>\u2014we\u2019ve spent most of the evening getting everything reconfigured<\/strong>. Right now, we\u2019re about 90% set up<\/strong>, which means the stream is at least running again<\/strong>. However, Rusty\u2019s cam and the phone cam are still down<\/strong>, and we have a long way to go before it\u2019s fully operational<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Streaming Server Migration Challenges and Amazon Unboxing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At least one thing went right today\u2014our Amazon deliveries arrived<\/strong> just in time for the new setup. That means a good old-fashioned unboxing<\/strong> before we start integrating the new gear into the stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As if today wasn\u2019t chaotic enough, I also had to fix a dresser<\/strong> after work. Why not add another project to the pile? LOL.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tonight\u2019s Stream: A Messy Test Run After the Migration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After all these streaming server migration<\/strong> headaches, we\u2019re still going live tonight. Expect technical hiccups, missing features, and plenty of troubleshooting<\/strong>, but the show must go on<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
