After work yesterday, I <strong>got gas, had my glasses fixed, and went food shopping<\/strong>. By the time I got home, I felt <strong>shaky, dizzy, and like I was going to vomit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve been <strong>smoking since before I could drive<\/strong> and was up to <strong>two packs a day<\/strong>. A few years ago, I <strong>switched to Juuls<\/strong>, which helped, but now I\u2019m trying to <strong>quit completely<\/strong>. The problem? I think I <strong>cut back too fast<\/strong> instead of giving my body more time to adjust. I did end up buying a <strong>4-pack of pods yesterday<\/strong>, but I\u2019m still <strong>determined to quit smoking<\/strong> for good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Streaming Frustrations and Setup Issues<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since I wasn\u2019t feeling well enough to stream, I spent some time <strong>trying to get StreamElements SE.Live multicasting to work<\/strong>. It was a <strong>disaster<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Kick stream descriptions wouldn\u2019t populate<\/strong>, meaning I couldn\u2019t save them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>YouTube wouldn\u2019t connect at all.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Twitch was flaky at best.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>YouTube\u2019s issue might be <strong>on their end<\/strong>, but after all the frustration, I\u2019ve <strong>given up on SE.Live<\/strong> and am now switching to <strong>Aitum<\/strong> for a better streaming experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Streaming Improvements and Quitting Smoking Motivation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I also worked on <strong>improving our stream settings<\/strong>. One of our users noticed that we were <strong>only running at 790 bitrate<\/strong>, so I bumped that up and made a few <strong>other tweaks<\/strong>. It\u2019s a <strong>work in progress<\/strong>, so we\u2019ll <strong>keep tweaking as we go<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tonight, we\u2019re <strong>going live<\/strong> to see how the new settings hold up.
