When you spend that much time together, sharing challenges, success, and even the occasional frustration, those relationships go deeper than just being coworkers. One of the hardest parts of being between jobs is not the job search itself.
It is losing the daily rhythm of seeing the same faces every day, the people you have laughed with, relied on, and supported through countless projects. When the job ends, the contact often fades. Not because anyone wants it to, but because everyone gets busy and moves forward with their routines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is also that hesitation about reaching out. You might worry that it could be awkward or that it might make things uncomfortable for them at work. Sometimes you even wonder if they would rather not be reminded that you are no longer part of the team.
