Snowstorm Aftermath: Digging Out and Dealing with Drifts
The snowstorm aftermath has been brutal. Our driveway had to be plowed twice on Sunday, and even today, we’re still having trouble getting in and out. The snow hit harder than expected, and with wind-driven drifts piling up, it’s making travel a nightmare.
Early Sunday morning, a travel ban was issued, so we tried to make a mad dash to the IGA across the street before it took effect. We still didn’t make it in time. At least we had some backup food at home, so we weren’t completely out of luck.
Snowstorm Aftermath and Internet Woes
With the storm came internet issues, which meant we had to skip streaming last night. It was frustrating, but with the connection being flaky, it just wasn’t worth the struggle.
The morning commute was rough, too. The roads weren’t plowed well, making the drive to work a real pain. Thankfully, they had cleared up by the time work was over, except for—of course—our driveway, which was still a mess. The wind is still brutal, creating massive snow drifts, some even covering entire roads. At this point, mountains of snow are piling up everywhere.
New Cameras Arriving After the Snowstorm Aftermath
On the bright side, our new cameras arrive tomorrow, and I can’t wait to test them out. Looking forward to getting back to streaming, especially with a few new ideas I have for the brick game. I might also jump into some gaming myself—it’s been a while since I had a solid gaming session.
Tonight, I’m also testing out an experiment with the pup pups and a heating pad. Should be interesting to see how they react to that.
Excited to get things back on track after the snowstorm aftermath. See you all soon!
