Twins’ Birthday, Murder Drones & Stream Setup Upgrades
This weekend was packed with celebration, productivity, and a bit of chaos. First, we celebrated the twins’ birthday with ice cream cake and a casual family watch party featuring Murder Drones.
Not everyone in the house had seen the show yet, so we thought it was a perfect time. If you haven’t checked it out, it’s definitely worth a watch—but don’t let the cartoonish look fool you. It may seem kid-friendly at first glance, but it’s absolutely not. The show takes a wild turn, and by the end, it’s full-blown madness (in the best way).
Stream Setup Upgrades & Home Improvements
Alongside the birthday fun, we finally made some long-overdue stream setup upgrades and house improvements.
We added new ring lights to boost lighting quality for our stream. On top of that, we picked up a couple of stand-up lights for an upcoming project. To keep things tidy, we grabbed new laundry baskets, and the theater room now has a pair of end tables that were desperately needed.
All these little updates have made a big difference in both function and vibe. It’s one of those weekends where small wins stack up fast.
Why We Didn’t Stream This Weekend
Between the birthday celebration and all the improvements, we just didn’t have time—or energy—to go live. Sometimes, you’ve got to hit pause and take care of real life. We’ll be back on track this week!
Weather Whiplash & Another Icy Morning
Let’s talk about the weather for a second. It’s been all over the place. One day it’s warm enough to go coat-free, and the next, it’s snowing.
This morning, I had to deal with a thick layer of ice on the truck windshield before heading to work. These weather swings are exhausting, but hey—we’re used to it up here.
