Lambda

Congratulations and nice going, ex-pledges. We Lambda men are proud to have you among us. The following men will be, forever Lambdas:

Charles Bergman, Bill Cassada, Al Medovich, John Stets, Don Averick, Lynn Buckingham, Olie Colitti, Hack Diggleman, Bom Donaldson, Larry Doyle, Ang Falanga, Bill Frits, Tom Gatta, Jim Holcombe, Skip Howell, George Howland, Len Hall, Herb Jahn, Joe Jachere and George Kirk.

Dave Lyons, Larry Langhans, Ken Letson, Marve Lipshutz, Vince Link, Gene Maxwell, Dick McGee, Bill McGinty, Charlie Mueller, Barry Nelligan, Ted Prossner, George Schildge, Bill Shoemaker, Bob Walker, George Washburn, Frank Zavatt and Dan Zirpoli.

After Hell night a week ago Saturday night and Sunday morning, a few of the more hardy members and pledges stayed up to celebrate. The celebration ended about 9:00 A.M. "I'm a s----" Maxwell was seen strolling down to breakfast at 10:30 P.M.

We now have not one but two residents of 30 Elm hob-nobbing with the high school crowd. Can't blame them at all, though.

Two black, barge-like objects were found in Coppersmith's room after Saturday night's fun. (?) Someone said they might be "Big Jim" Holcombe's galoshes. (Old Barge-foot)

That sure was a pretty blue color that showed up during Saturday of initiation week, wasn't it? (The preceding sentence for the new members, only.)

The initiation brought to light another character, "Hard Luck" Charlie Mueller. That stuff doesn't do much for the stomach, does it, Charlie? He would know if ANY-BODY did!

The coming of Lent has brought to light many heretofore (probably spelled wrong but can't reach the dictionary) unknown early risers. Now even eight-o'clocks don't seem bad.

The opening of the new bowling alley has caused, among some of the members, an acute lack of cash and the using of muscles not used very often before. Result: moans, groans, backaches and blisters. IT's fun, though, knocking all those pins over. But not so much fun picking them all up - right Stoogie?

Many of the men "made out"
